For Christmas please may I have....
Screach!!!!!!!! Bang!!!!***@!!
Hold it right there! This needs some thinking about before we write down such a list that even Argoos or the Big Red Book would be lost! Admit it, we all wrote them, pages of it, leaving Santa trying to take on extra Elves at the last minute - maybe some of the Mums and Dads out there still do...
But traditionally Santa, bless his boots only has to bring us one (1) gift. How hard do we want to make this for him, poor St Nick has been out trying to get extra presents, last minute bargains and people to help him for years now, you have to admire his courage. Imagine him stood at his fireplace scratching his head, rubbing his beard trying to work out which of the 200 or so things on that list are the most important to you, hoping he gets it right - poor Santa!
When he dropped in at Sunshine Castle the other night for a mug of hot chocolate, he confessed it's bamboozle Santa time again and it's hardly even December yet. I said I'd see if I could help, so here goes!
Christmas list writing rules
Think about the things you really want or need and ask for those.
Did you get something nearly the same last year - do you use it - would a new one really be so much better? Would mum just fall over it a lot and grumble that it's in the way and not played with?
Put loads on your mum and dad list but put the things you want most on the Santa List - help him to get your pressies just right!
Get Mum or Dad to help you do your letter to Santa and post it to him at the start of December if you can, the sooner the better - you may get a letter back if you're quick enough!
