Halos And Rainbows

It's getting near the party season and these are lovely easy gifts we can all make for anyone at all!  Cheap, easy fun and best of all a bit Magical! 

All you need is some beads and a thread or some elastic.  Any old beads will do, plastic, mums old jewellery - crystals would be nice (ASK FIRST), something from the charity shop it really doesn't matter. 

 If you need to use a needle remember to be careful and to put it away afterwards.

Give the beads a quick wash in salty water just in case they've picked up any odd vibes on their journey to you and sit down at a clean table.

Knot the end of the thead.

As you thread the beads onto the string make a charm for each bead. 

If mum likes roses say "may mum see lots of roses" 

Or for Granny "may granny smile every morning" 

You can choose anything nice, happy and positive!

You could put them in order so you remember and say the same for each orange bead, green bead, etc

You could use the Chakra colours 

Or just go for which bead feels right next, it really is ok to have fun with this!

Thread all the beads on and go back round reminding the beads what their charm is.

Remember to leave enough string to tie or make sure the elastic is long enough to stretch round the persons wrist or go over their head. 

How about glue them to a picture frame to go at dads side of the bed if he might break them at work ( you may need a grown up helper for that bit)

The really cool bit is that he person getting your beautiful gift doesn't have believe in magic, you don't have to tell them what each bead is for but I bet they'll listen anyway if you want to tell them.
