Halos And Rainbows

It's Magic you know - never believe it's not so!

The 3 O’Clock Wee!

The 3 O'clock Wee

Everyone or just me?

I wake up for a 3 o'clock wee

Not at 2 or 4, 5 or 6

Can my bladder tell time?

Is it just playing tricks?

My Ogre sleeps all night

Soundly right through

To morning but what

Do other folks do?

For every night at a quarter to 3

I wake up and find

I'm needing a wee

By 3 o’clock I know

That sleep is no more

I stumble in darkness across to the door

It used to be peaceful

There was just only me awake

But now a new twist to this journey I make

My baby watching each night wide awake

Says Mummy “take me,”

Now we go together for a 3 o'clock wee.

My Garden Friends

I am a tiny fairy, I’m yellow top to toe

You’ll find me in the garden where your yellow flowers grow

I hide in pretty marigolds;  splash in the morning dew

I play with magic powers and make buttercups shine too.

I’m purple like a pansy, lavender smells like me

I’m hiding in your flowers - where nobody can see

I like it in your garden, it's warm here in the sun

I’m looking out for butterfies to count them one by one!

Pink nose and pink toes and nobody knows

I’m where your rose grows,

I sit in your  flowers for hours and hours,

I’m happy all day, Fairy’s here to stay

Work in progress:

Cute as a button twinkle in my eye

I’m a Fairy you can see in the sky

Sunflowers growing up so high

I ride my friend bee and we go up to see

This is the very first poem I wrote when I was about 8, Fairy Glenda might remember this , but as you can see I've not really improved.

The Owl and The Mouse

The once was an owl by the name of Ericko

Who sat on the stones of Jericko

He saw a wood mouse

And then did pounce

On that wood mouse

The woodmouse shrieked

And bit the owl's feet

The Owl did hoot

Then trapped that wood mouse

And took him home to tea

hee-hee!
